The RNZAA was formed as an advocacy group in welfare matters for both serving and non serving New Zealand Gunners of all ranks and as a medium to continue Gunner camaraderie by keeping in touch with both the present serving gunners, regiments and past members via reunions, ceremonial involvement, Regimental and Association activities of an individual or combined nature, a website, blog-site and newsletter.
