Some of you will have known Col Harding known (behind his back) as Raging Ron,
Col Harding passed away Mon 6 May 2013.
Ex K Force and probably better known when he was Commander ATG.
Bill Harding (the farmer) drove his truck through Ruapehu Rd gate and knocked the picket hut partly off its base so RR sent a 2Lt up to see Bill to tell him to fix it. So Bill sent the 2Lt back with the message "Fix it yourself or I will buy your Camp off you!!"
God knows what transpired after that. as an aside RR and Bill were really good mates
