Correspondence with Mike Wicksteed

 (From Tony McLeod) I have recently been in correspondence with Mike Wicksteed who continues to be involved in very interesting activities;

``I'm living in England - retired from the Civil Service three years back. Have been doing part-time communications work to keep the old grey cells ticking over. Just finishing as comms manager for the Litvinenko Inquiry and still working on two others - one on police corruption and the other on undercover policing.  Plus the occasional bit of Council of Europe judicial comms advisory work has taken me to riveting places such as Tbilisi in Georgia, Ramallah and Kiev: spent three days in Brasilia in November.

On a gunner note had lunch in September with John Tulloch and (non-gunner of course) Harley Pope.  We were at Portsea together (Class of Dec 66) and hadn't seen each other in decades but it didn't take long before we were chatting away on familiar subjects``.

Mike also notes in an email to me; ``You're the only other person I've come across who's been to Tbilisi!  I was providing a communications strategy for the High School of Justice (their judges' training outfit) along with two others - a chap from Bulgaria who provided the governance aspects and a woman from Macedonia who is an expert on judicial training. We ended up making three visits during 2014``

Thanks for the update Mike. Tony
