It is with regret I advise that Max Mains has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Max passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018 at home in Auckland, aged 89 years.

Rest in Peace Max. Thank you for your service.

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
