Two very special 150th Anniversaries in Auckland last weekend.

Greetings - I want to note a big thank you to the two committees that organized the two very special 150th Anniversaries in Auckland last weekend. The events went off well, were enjoyable, and had very good turnouts. Well done 11/4 Bty and The Band of the RNZA. There was a message from Our Captain General addressed to all Gunners in NZ with special mention of the two Anniversaries:

"Please convey my warm thanks to the Members of the Royal Regiment of New Zealand Artillery for their loyal greetings, sent on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of The Band of the Royal Regiment of New Zealand Artillery and of 11/4 Battery of 16 Field Regiment.
As your Captain-General, I was pleased to learn of the history of the two units and much appreciate your thoughtfulness in writing as you did. In return, I send my best wishes to all concerned on this most significant anniversary.
