Update on Wellington Gunners Day Dinner & Commemorative Service

Greetings all!

An update on the Gunners day Dinner.

We presently have 8 firm registrations (ie have been paid). We will need to confirm the numbers for the dinner by the end of April, so there is a need for some concentration on making a decision, and registering! Last day for registration is 22 April!

Just to remind you - date is Thursday 26 May 2016, (the 300th Gunners Day!), venue is Wellesley Hotel (Magginity St and Ballance St corner), time is 1830 for 1900, cost is $100 per head (includes wine at the table and port - cash bar for predinner drinks), miniatures to be worn, dress Jacket and Tie or Mess Kit for serving personnel, guest of honour Lt Gen Don McIver former CGS and Commander MFO.

Please notify me of your attendance ([email protected]) and deposit the cost in my account with ANZ (06-0529-0479162-03). Last day 22 April.

Commemorative Service 1200hrs Thursday 26 May 2016, at National War Memorial, Buckle St. Assemble by 1155hrs at latest -  service will follow the usual format (Gunner ties and medals will be worn) and will be led by our Honorary Padre David Bahler. There will be an opportunity for some fellowship following the service.
