Wellington Gunners Day Dinner: 26 May at the Wellesley Hotel

Greetings all!

Our Dinner to celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the Granting of the Royal Charter to the Royal Regiment of Artillery will be held at the Wellesley Hotel  at 1830 for 1900 on Thursday 26 May 2016.

The cost will be $100 per person which will include wines at the table and port for the toasts. Pre-dinner drinks will be on a cash basis as will be additional wine.

Dress will be Mess Kit for serving personnel, Jacket and tie for non-serving members. Miniatures will be worn.

Lt Gen Don McIver, former CGS, has accepted an invitation to propose the toast to the Regiment.

The Wellesley Hotel is on the corner of Maginnity and Brandon Sts, just off Featherston St Was the Wellesley Club until recently.

Details of the Commemorative Service at the National War memorial at Midday on 26 May 2016 will be advised shortly.
