It is with regret I advise that Brian Newell has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Brian passed away on September 16th 2018 at Essie Summers Retirement Village, Christchurch, aged 84.

It is with regret I advise that Joe McGee has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Joe passed away on the 13th of Sep 2018, aged 72.

It is with regret I advise that Tony Carr has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Tony passed away peacefully on August 19th 2018 at Rannerdale Veterans’ Care in Christchurch, aged 72 years.

It is with regret I advise that Thomas Gilmore has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Thomas passed away peacefully at Bethesda Rest Home, Christchurch, on 27th August 2018, in his 93rd year.

It is with regret I advise that Russell Switalla has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Russell passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 24th 2018 at Fitzgerald Complex, Christchurch, aged 95.

It is with regret I advise that Bill Clark has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Bill passed away peacefully on 16th August 2018 at home after a brave battle with cancer surrounded by family.

It is with regret I advise that Bob Forsyth has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Bob passed away peacefully peacefully at Waikato Hospital on 8th August 2018 surrounded by family, aged 96 years.

It is with regret I advise that Des Rollinson has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky. Des passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Auckland on Saturday 16 June 2018, aged 101.

Recently the BC and NCO’s from 163 Bty visited WO2 (retd) Arthur Pacey, Gun Sgt during the Korean conflict. Arthur fired 16th Fd Regt’s first rounds in anger, a fact he is understandably very proud of.
RNZA Association members are invited by the family to attend the funeral of 37221 Sgt Alastair "Al" Don, Military Merit Medal (SVN), Cross of Gallantry with Palm (SVN), 161 Bty RNZA, killed in action on 14th September 1965 in South Vietnam.
