A list of former 22 (D) Bty and other former Wellington artillery unit Personnel is being set up to help organise the reunion and the organisers would value input from anyone who may be able to add to the list or help us get more contact details.
It is with regret I advise that Frank Hill has marched off for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky, peacefully on March 7, 2017, at Christchurch Hospital, in his 95th year.
Rest in Peace Frank. Thank you for your Service

I was fortunate to have the chance to address the final parade of the Korean Veterans Association in Auckland yesterday.
It is with regret I inform you that Tom Moore (Matekuare) RNZASC has marched out to the Gunpark in the Sky, on March 9, 2017, peacefully at Elmswood Retirement Village, Christchurch.
Tom served in 161 Bty SVN 65/66
It is with regret I advise that Gordon Garwood has marched off for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky, on March 3 2017, peacefully at home in Te Horo, aged 71 years.
Rest in Peace Gordon. Thank you for your Service
It is with regret I advise that Jim O'Halloran has marched off for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky, on 7th March 2017, at Te Kuiti Hospital, after a long illness borne with strong and uncomplaining fortitude

It is with regret I have to inform you that WO 1 (Rtd) R N Roger (Neddy) Wylde has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky, on February 21, 2017, at Hutt Hospital, in his 92nd year .

While it is Echo Battery’s celebration, we also recognise that there is considerable affiliated history with other organisations, for example; 3 Fd Regt, 31 Battery etc, so we also invite ex gunners from other regiments to the celebration as well.
We are looking for an NZ gun detachment to participate in a 100 gun salute to mark the Centenary of the end of the Battle of Passchendaele on 10 Nov 17. Passchendaele saw the largest loss of life in one day for NZ in any conflict.
