It is with regret I advise that Grenville Lightfoot has marched off for the last time to the Gunpark in the Sky, unexpectedly on March 1 2017, one day short of his 97th birthday, at Christchurch Hospital

It is with regret I have to inform you that WO 1 (Rtd) R N Roger (Neddy) Wylde has marched off to the Gunpark in the Sky, on February 21, 2017, at Hutt Hospital, in his 92nd year .
Rest in Peace Roger. Thank you for your Service.
While it is Echo Battery’s celebration, we also recognise that there is considerable affiliated history with other organisations, for example; 3 Fd Regt, 31 Battery etc, so we also invite ex gunners from other regiments to the celebration as well.
We are looking for an NZ gun detachment to participate in a 100 gun salute to mark the Centenary of the end of the Battle of Passchendaele on 10 Nov 17. Passchendaele saw the largest loss of life in one day for NZ in any conflict.

It is with regret I inform you that Alan has gone to the Gunpark in the sky.
Fell asleep on 27 January 2017 after a courageous battle with illness.
Alan was a member of the Band for over 30 years, and was Quartermaster for many years

Passed away peacefully on Saturday 28th January 2017, aged 85 years.
